Kasini House and over forty artists are turning five vacant retail spaces in downtown Winooski into an instant gallery district for six weeks in June and July.

At the Grand Opening Event on June 24th, 5-9PM, in addition to a formal ribbon cutting, the public is invited to tour the galleries, enjoy a glass of wine, taste food from local restaurants, and enjoy live music. On Sundays from 10AM to 2PM, galleries will hold a Sidewalk Sale in conjunction with the Winooski Farmer’s Market that occurs across the street in front of the Champlain Mill. Artists and organizers are planning a host of activities in June and July: film screenings, performances, readings, artist demonstrations, and activities for kids.

The galleries are open Thursday through Saturday from Noon to 6PM and Sundays from 10AM to 4PM. The project is underwritten by Opportunities Credit Union with organizational support from Winooski Falls, Winooski Community Partnership, and Art Map Burlington.
