Industrial Design: Motorcycles at the Bundy Modern
May 20-July 9, 2017
“Industrial Design” presents examples of motorcycle design from 1912 through today, focusing mostly on the 1960s and 1970s. Also on display are acrylic and watercolor paintings by Vermont artists Kirk Dunnan and Peter Vorhees.
Bundy Modern, an International Movement-styled gallery set on a 30-acre plateau, is an architectural work of art in and of itself. Recently renovated, this modern gem is spectacular in true modern style with all structural elements visible: walls of glass, brick parapets, massive wooden beams, and Vermont slate floors.
On view from July 22 to September 10, 2017 is “Johnny Swing: Under the Influence of Motion: Sculpture, Furniture, Lighting”.
