The Vermont Artisan Festival is a 2.5-day-long festival and trade show featuring Vermont artists, craftspeople, musicians, performers, and chefs. The event takes place at Smugglers' Notch Resort in Jeffersonville and includes art showings, a live auction, several musical performances, and a vaudeville style performance.

Ian Costello's "The Sprawl" is a loose collection of crumbling tenement buildings and crooked sidewalks. Clarity collapses as distance increases. There is no end in sight; perhaps no end at all.

Sage Tucker-Ketcham's multi-layered abstractions in mixed media combine subtlety of color and texture with detailed ink drawings reminiscent of tattoo iconography.

Duncan McKee, son of the late noted maritime artist and illustrator, William McKee, has carved his own niche among North Country artists. His work hangs in collections across the country and in Europe, and is sought by collectors. Due to personal reasons, McKee has not shown publicly since 2004, but is back with a vengeance, so to speak.

Thirty large photographs of historic painted theater curtains from around Vermont and the Canaan Historical Society Advertising Curtain - a 1930’s Art Deco-style curtain featuring jazz performers - are on display.
