Gander Gallery is a recent addition to the Manchester art scene, but has much deeper roots in Adria Schozer's family's art gallery, the Bittersweet Gallery, which was an exciting place to find emerging artists in Montauk, Long Island, New York during the 1970s and ‘80s. Gander Gallery continues the dedication to showcasing the work of established and emerging artists of Vermont, and elsewhere, who have been selected for their creative passion and excellence in their chosen genre.

Southern Vermont Arts Center


The Southern Vermont Arts Center boasts a museum of 19th and 20th century art, a 400-seat performance space, Café Mamie, a sculpture garden, a botany trail, the Elizabeth de C. Wilson Museum (which houses the world's largest collection of works by Luigi Lucioni), and Yester House, a twenty-eight-room Georgian Revival mansion that houses ten art galleries dedicated to contemporary artists.
