Nectar’s also shows local emerging artists, with a heavy emphasis on photography.
Vermonter Brian Jenkins specializes in music, sports and portrait photography throughout the New England and beyond. Music photography is his passion and he’s frequently busy with either documenting a recording session, shooting a live show around town, or photographing a music festival. Brian is the house photographer for Nectar’s and Club Metronome and has worked closely with many of the area’s leading and up coming bands and musicians.
Brian’s work can be seen on several album covers, has produced band promotional material, is the photographer for the show “Exposure” a live in-studio sessions and webcast featuring local, regional and national musicians, and is a regular contributor to many of the industries publications and websites.
Along with his passion for photographing music, Brian also has a passion for sports photography. Currently Brian is the chief team photographer for the University of Vermont athletic department covering all university sports and has been for the past eight years. Other clients include the Burlington Free Press, Associated Press, New York Times, and the America East Conference. Brian has shot everything from little league baseball to the Stanley Cup Championship and his work can frequently be seen in national publications and websites such as Sports Illustrated, ESPN, ESPN.com, USA Today, the Burlington Free Press, etc.
