Lauderdale, Florida. In the 1980s, she was part of the Miami art scene both as a member of the Artifacts Art Group and as a street artist. From 1987 to 2001, Ekasala lived in Paris, where her style moved from figurative to abstract and she exhibited in group shows in Paris, Berlin, and New York.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2001, Ekasala has been living in the Northeast Kingdom.
