\nDavid Stromeyer\u2019s Cold Hollow Sculpture Park<\/h1>\n

In Vermont Art Guide<\/em> #1<\/a>, Theresa Sinclair profiles David Stromeyer and his sculpture park in Enosburg Falls. She writes, “Like a herd of wondrous creatures, massive forms emerge across the landscape and welcome viewers to walk amongst them. A visit to Cold Hollow Sculpture Park is an invitation to discover a relationship between earth and man wrought in color and steel.” Jitterbug<\/em> by David Stromeyer is on the cover of Vermont Art Guide<\/em> #1<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cold Hollow Sculpture Park opens for season on Saturday, June 25th. Gates open at noon for self-guided tours. Cold Hollow encourages picnicking. From 1-3PM, the people behind the park will host an artist-led conversation<\/p>\n

Stromeyer\u2019s strikingly modern sculptures can be found in private and public collections across the United States, but when viewed together as a collection at Cold Hollow they take on a new and exciting energy as each piece punctuates a larger story.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s theme at Cold Hollow is \u201cThe Space Between\u201d and the park is holding several special events throughout the season including a symposium on August 13 featuring presentations by Stromeyer along with dancer Vicki Tansey and architect\/developer Walter Upton. Other events include the exhibition, \u201cDavid Stromeyer: Visions in Steel\u201d, at West Branch Gallery and Sculpture Park<\/a> in Stowe opening on July 9 and continuing to September 9, and Stromeyer’s 70th birthday celebration on October 8. In 2016, Cold Hollow Sculpture Park is open to the public June 25 through early October, Thursday through Sunday and holidays from Noon to 6PM. Admission is free.<\/p>\n
