STATEMENT

In my ink sketches, I aim to explore the profound relationship between human and canine. With influences as diverse as Hergé and Alberto Giacometti, my final pieces are often varied in their detail, texture, and aesthetic.

From a young age, I have been enamored with dogs of all varieties. My passion for canine fine art developed shortly after I became the owner of a Bassedor (Basset Hound & Labrador) at age 10. After “Summer” passed away in 2024 at age 17, I was inspired to honor the canine form through pen and ink.
Through realistic and cartoon depictions, the viewer is left with an invitation to explore the wordless bonds we share.
