STATEMENT

Art is my avocation. After painting for over 30 years, I have learned the journey is as important as the destination. My joy and fulfillment are born of the creative process. I prefer to create rather than interpret my paintings, as this is an individual endeavor, for each of you to undertake.

BIO

I am essentially self-taught but have taken classes at the Art Students League in New York City, Burlington City Arts, Community College of Vermont and countless workshops. I am a nurse by profession and presently work in Labor and Delivery at University of Vermont Medical Center. I have exhibited at the Edgewater Gallery and Jackson Gallery in Middlebury, Bryan Memorial Gallery in Jericho, SPACE Gallery and BCA Center in Burlington, University of Vermont Medical Center, as well as many eateries and public spaces around the state.
