Julia Shipley

Julia Shipley’s reading for Exposed is inspired by short pieces from her project: Ten Sabbaths: Drawing on Stillness, created during a Habitat for Artists residency. During ten consecutive Sundays throughout summer and fall 2011, she’s been exploring “clearings”, the inherent and necessary pauses within the labors of farming, and creating pieces of writing suitable for those restive interstices.
