Spirit of Place
at GreenTARA Space in North Hero
April 27-June 3, 2018
Opening reception: Saturday, May 5, 3-5PM with kite flying, weather permitting
“Spirit of Place” is GreenTARA Space’s first show of 2018. It is about the feeling we find when we are grounded in place, in knowledge of where we are, yet connected to the energetic space around us, the sky, the lake, and the beauty of being.

The show presents a combination of playful and thoughtful work that is both grounded in the dynamic spirit and color of “Flying Kites” from Kate Pond, which hang throughout the volume of the gallery. Two of the kites will be available to fly during the opening reception on May 5th.
Nori Pepe’s work, “Carving out a Place”, are black-and-white unframed linocuts based on her travels to Venice, Moscow, and more.
