Lin Warren: “Selections from the Barns”
Lin Warren, who has previously exhibited at the Gallery at Main Street Landing in Burlington, the Brooklyn Museum in New York, and at locations throughout the East Coast and as far afield as California, has received many awards for her work. Warren’s work is in private and corporate collections throughout the U.S.
Warren’s current works, painted in acrylic, oil, and metallic luster paint, employ textural form and reflective surfaces to define rigorous contrasts. Using the arc as a main focus, she uses movement of material, the artist’s mark, printmaking and vibrant color to create works that are deliberate, surprising and energetic.
Working from her artist’s studio at Shelburne Pond Studios on Pond Road, Shelburne, Warren also lends inspiration to the students in the art classes she holds there and applauds the personal revelations they discover and express in their own works.
The artist will be present at the opening reception, which includes light refreshments, wine tasting, and wine by the glass available for sale.
