In his poem “A Winter Eden,” Robert Frost described a winter scene this way:
It lifts existence on a plane of snow
One level higher than the earth below,
One level nearer heaven overhead,
And last year’s berries shining scarlet red.
Vermonters are particularly attuned to the beauty of winter, the sometimes dark, sometimes gleaming, always cold and seemingly endless. Kasini House is pleased to present the work of eleven Vermont artists who explore the season of winter through painting and photography. (Image: Phillips Barn by Anne Cummings)
